MINT scene visits NRW

“Shaping MINT learning and teaching together” is the motto of this year’s event MINTvernetzt action days. These are taking place for the first time in cooperation with the STEM campus instead, the new learning platform for the MINT community. The event kicks off with the MINT Campus Day, which takes place on November 20th in Cologne. The Germany-wide MINT scene is invited to exchange ideas and learn and teach together in workshops and lectures. Of course, the zdi community shouldn't be missing!

zdi.NRW represents the NRW-wide MINT community

The zdi community is represented several times in Cologne. The workshop “MINT + School + Company + x = zdi” offers this zdi center Steinfurt district a mini training course during the MINT Campus Day. This is about knowledge transfer and direct added value for your own work. Together we will work out how schools and companies can be motivated through needs-based projects to independently contact MINT activists - and not the other way around. The network also presents its recipe for success for the “MINT Rally” for in-depth career and study orientation.

The zdi state office was able to exchange ideas with the MINTvernetzt team during speed dating back in the spring.

The ZDI state office is where everything runs zdi community from all over North Rhine-Westphalia. During speed dating, we present the NRW community offensive to the Germany-wide MINT community: We provide insights into the newly launched zdi Science League and the successful zdi Heroine October campaign and explain the work of the zdi student laboratories and zdi networks .

Magdalena Hein, project manager at zdi.NRW, knows how valuable events like this are: “The supra-regional exchange of good practice examples, the insight into other projects and the sharing of experiential knowledge – I am convinced that these are essential factors for are a committed and active nationwide MINT community. As zdi.NRW we are part of it. We are therefore very happy to meet many MINT-enthusiastic people at the MINT Campus Day, to learn from and with each other and to give and take inspiration with us!”
