The competitions will take place between the end of March and mid-June 2022.
We start with 16 local competitions throughout NRW. The first and second place winners qualify for the regional competitions. At the 8 regional competitions there will be a fight for participation in the final.
The motto of the zdi robot competition 2022 is "RE•use | RE•duce | RE•cycle – turn old into new” and addresses current challenges in the circular economy and the role of recycling. All tasks of the competition are structured around this motto.
Teams from schools in NRW are eligible to participate. You can take part in two categories (robot game and robot performance) and in two age groups: teams from primary schools and teams from secondary schools (Sek. I, G8 incl. year 10).
If face-to-face competitions are canceled due to the pandemic, hybrid competitions will be offered.
