zdi community presents offers in the NRW state parliament
For Future Day on April 22nd, the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament opened its doors and invited young people to find out about various career profiles in Düsseldorf. As part of the opening event in the Wandelhalle, the Vice President of the State Parliament welcomed Berivan Aymaz, the around 180 students in parliament.
After a very lively and interactive insight into the work of the NRW Parliament, the visitors continued with activities relating to careers in the fields of technology, crafts and natural sciences, which were offered at the stands in the Wandelhalle. The zdi community was also represented here and presented its offers.
Versatile MINT offering
At the following stands, young people had the opportunity to explore the diverse offerings of the zdi community in detail:
At the stand of zdi center ANTalive The young people were able to experience crafts both virtually and analogue: they were able to paint virtually using the Chamber of Crafts' VR simulators.
Also at the stand zdi network Gelsenkirchen you could immerse yourself in virtual reality and work on wood with a saw. Those who preferred to work “in real life” also had the opportunity to do so with analogue wooden construction sets.
mint4u – The zdi network in Bottrop and Oberhausen presented its Girls' Academy offering and offered young people the opportunity to let off steam creatively with 3D printing.
The zdi center BeST Wuppertal not only had the robot Pepper in its luggage, which was particularly well received by young people. Here the students were also able to glue paper circuits, i.e. create circuits on paper using electrically conductive adhesive strips.
At the stand of zdi student laboratories KITZ.do There were experiments from M to I and N to T to be experienced: things could be examined under the microscope and programmed, and the entire range of MINT was presented to the students here.
You could literally feel the enthusiasm for MINT among the young people. The stands were well attended and the exhibits and experiments were very well received.
zdi.NRW is not only committed to cliché-free career and study orientation on Future Day or Girls' Day & Boys' Day. Every year in zdi heroines October Let's focus on female role models in the MINT sector and show why MINT is for everyone!
